I'm Walter a half Dutch half Italian 38-year-old gentlemen, who changed his life by starting a B&B in Valnerina. Since I walked Via di Francesco in 2021, I felt that Italy has to become my first home.

I hope you will visit and enjoy my Game of Thrones themed B&B. I also keep the origan of Schioppo alive by exposing tools and listen to the stories of the previous citizens. With new bed matrasses, nice decorated rooms with seats, hooks to hang up cloths and dimmable light. All rooms have windows with a beautiful panorama on the valley. In the morning between 7 an 10 AM there will be a proper breakfast so you have enough energy to make a forest walk.

Visiting by car

When you enter Valnerina (SP 209) take your speed into account, almost all villages have a speed camera. Arriving at Ceselli, leave the SP209, towards Schioppo. The residents of Ceselli appreciate that you drive quietly because of stray animals. The newly asphalted street to Schioppo is one lane wide. It is best to park your car at the beginning of the village near the widening of the road where there is also a waste container.

Public transport / Pick Up

Buses leave from Terni several times a day to Ceselli. Make an appointment in advance to be picked up in Ceselli.

Visiting by walking

If you want to walk from Ceselli or via Spoleto towards Schioppo via the Via di Fransesco, you will pass Pontuglia. Walk into the village and you will find a small square with a water basin. Opposite the water basin there is a staircase going up. At the end of the stairs you can zigzag out of the village. Follow the path marked with characteristic stones. When you arrive in Schioppo, you zigzag up twice before you reach the beautiful B&B tower.
